Overview

What IT Helpdesk does

IT Helpdesk gives internal support teams the structure that a shared mailbox cannot: every request becomes a ticket with a category, a priority, an owner and a service-level target.

It is used well beyond IT. Facilities, HR and operations teams run the same intake-to-resolution process, each inside their own queues and permissions.

  • Ticket intake & categorisation
  • SLA tracking
  • Assignment & escalation

Key Benefits

Why operations adopt it

01

Requests stop disappearing

Every request is registered, owned and visible until it is resolved.

02

Priorities that mean something

Categories, priorities and SLA targets decide what the team works on next.

03

Workload you can see

Volume, backlog, response times and resolution rates per queue and technician.

04

Knowledge that accumulates

Resolution notes build a searchable history so the same problem is solved faster next time.

Capabilities

04

05

Ticket collaboration

Public replies, internal notes, attachments and a complete activity timeline.

06

Requester portal

Users submit requests and follow their own tickets without contacting the team.

07

Business hours

SLA clocks that respect working calendars, holidays and time zones.

08

Operational reporting

Backlog, ageing, first response, resolution time and reopen rate.

Architecture

How it is built

This application runs as a multi-tenant SaaS product with its own data isolation, role model and API. It can operate entirely on its own, or exchange data with your existing systems through the connector layer.

Multi-tenant isolation

Each customer operates inside an isolated organisational environment. Data, users, configuration and reporting are scoped to a tenant at the application layer.

Role-based access control

Permissions are granted by role, and roles are scoped to the tenant, team and function that requires them.

API authentication and scoping

Integrations authenticate with issued credentials limited to specific endpoints and data, and can be revoked independently.
